Privacy and website terms
Version 1.0 · Prepared on 5 November 2026. Applies from the first formal publication of this static website version; it does not apply retrospectively to the previous website.
Website Privacy Policy
Effective from this version’s first formal publication.
1 Operator and scope
This policy covers the AUROORCH website at auroorch.com and www.auroorch.com, operated by 东莞市曜控智能科技有限公司 (“we”, “us” and “our”), and enquiries initiated through its published email address after this policy takes effect. Registered address: Room 1503, Building 14, No. 6 Zhonghai Road, Binhaiwan New Area, Dongguan, China. Business enquiries and privacy requests: auroorch@auroorch.com.
The website provides company and product information and email contact. It has no registration, online forms, payments, device-data uploads or Iris chat. The app, business platform and separate Iris services have their own notices. This policy does not automatically change the purposes or retention arrangements for information received previously.
2 Information and purposes
When you visit, the hosting infrastructure handles your IP address and page requests. Website security logs record IP address, request time, HTTP method, path without query parameters and status code for security and troubleshooting. We do not use referring pages or full browser identifiers for visitor analytics.
Email links open your email application without sending a message automatically. If you send a message, we and the relevant mail providers process your sender address, message, attachments, and any name, organisation, role or contact details you supply to answer your enquiry, follow up on project discussions you request or handle a privacy request. Please avoid account passwords, complete identity documents or unnecessary information about others.
We do not automatically add enquiries to marketing lists, sell personal information, or use website visitor or enquiry information for advertising profiles, automated decisions or model training.
3 Cookies, legal bases and choices
The website uses same-origin images, fonts and scripts, with no advertising or analytics cookies or browser-storage tracking. We process information as needed to maintain website security, meet applicable duties and respond to your enquiries. A contract basis applies only where you personally are a party and the processing is necessary for that contract. Where consent is required, we will give notice and obtain it first. Browsing or sending one email is not treated as blanket agreement to all processing, cross-border disclosure or future marketing.
You can browse public pages without sending an email. Consent-based processing may be withdrawn through our contact email without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4 Providers and processing locations
The website uses a server in Tencent Cloud’s Hong Kong, China region, and the company mailbox uses Google Workspace. Necessary technical and email processing involves the relevant providers and company personnel authorised by role. The host location does not mean that email, support, backups and all personnel access are confined to Hong Kong.
Hosting: the Tencent Cloud platform is operated by 腾讯云计算(北京)有限责任公司. Its overseas-resource terms also involve Tencent Cloud International Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. Our selected website server is in Hong Kong, China, where website requests and security logs are processed. Provider support and subprocessors may involve other disclosed locations under the applicable service arrangements.
Tencent Cloud contact and processing information: customer support · data processing agreement · Lighthouse module。
Email: Google Workspace provides message delivery and storage. Google’s published service terms identify Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) for the relevant Asia-Pacific service arrangements; our account’s billing notices are issued by Google Australia Pty Ltd. (Australia). Billing services are distinct from the processing of your message content. The mailbox’s data-region setting is “No preference”, so messages and provider copies are not restricted to Hong Kong or a single selected country and may be processed where Google and its subprocessors maintain facilities, including the United States, Europe and Asia.
Google contact and processing information: Workspace data protection team · data processing addendum · subprocessor names and locations。
Authorised company personnel in mainland China may access necessary records to operate the website and answer enquiries. Access from mainland China to overseas hosting or email services can involve cross-border processing. Requests about recipients, locations or safeguards may be sent to auroorch@auroorch.com, and we will assist with rights requests involving our providers. We do not treat this notice or a voluntarily sent email as separate consent where the law requires it; any additional processing requiring such consent must follow the applicable notice and consent procedure first.
5 Retention and deletion
Our retention rules are: website security logs retained for six calendar months and then cleared through scheduled maintenance; ordinary new-website enquiry emails for 12 months from the later of enquiry closure and the last substantive exchange; and only the minimum privacy-request record and outcome for three years after closure. Verification material no longer needed is deleted within 30 days after verification ends. Complete identity documents are not normally collected.
At expiry, information in our operational records is deleted or anonymised through category-specific review; the shared company mailbox is not subject to a blanket automatic deletion rule. Information transferred into a particular project follows the retention arrangements lawfully determined for that project. Further retention required by applicable law, a specific dispute or a security incident is limited to necessary records, restricted purposes and a defined end condition. Provider copies follow their own recovery and deletion cycles. Google’s published data processing addendum allows up to 180 days after an irrecoverable customer deletion instruction to complete deletion, subject to legal storage requirements; this is not an additional period for our ordinary use. We do not promise that every backup copy disappears immediately.
6 Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may use auroorch@auroorch.com to request an explanation, access, copying, transfer, correction, completion or deletion of personal information, restriction of or objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent. The company will limit verification to what the request’s risk requires, will not request account passwords, and will handle and answer requests within applicable legal deadlines. If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and available remedies.
7 Security, minors and changes
We use HTTPS, necessary access controls and retention and deletion measures to protect information. Personal-information security incidents will be handled with legally required action and notifications. The website is intended for business information and has no collection feature directed at minors. Information about minors received inadvertently will be reviewed and deleted or protected as required by applicable law.
Updates will identify the version and effective date. Significant changes to purposes, information categories, recipients or rights will be highlighted on the webpage, with separate notice or consent where required by law. An update does not retrospectively authorise earlier processing that lacked a lawful basis.
Website Terms
Effective from this version’s first formal publication.
1 Website and contact
The website at auroorch.com and www.auroorch.com is operated by 东莞市曜控智能科技有限公司 under the AUROORCH brand. Registered address: Room 1503, Building 14, No. 6 Zhonghai Road, Binhaiwan New Area, Dongguan, China. Email: auroorch@auroorch.com.
2 Information and project agreements
The website introduces the company, products and ways of working together. It has no registration, online ordering, form submission, device control or Iris chat. Quotations, deliverables, support, warranties, services and acceptance criteria should be confirmed in the particular project or transaction documents. These terms do not change an existing valid contract or exclude legal responsibility for statements on the website.
App screenshots and recordings use offline demonstration data. Brand scenes and workflow illustrations explain concepts and do not establish actual customer deployments, live plant data, institutional endorsement or realised returns. Product descriptions are not installation instructions or authorisation for remote control. Actual operations should follow the equipment instructions, applicable requirements and project arrangements.
3 Content and permitted use
Rights in text, images, fonts, videos, software and marks belong to their respective holders. Browsing does not transfer those rights. Use beyond what the law permits or a rights holder has authorised requires the relevant permission. Quotations and other uses permitted by law are not excluded by these terms. Questions about sources or permission may be sent to our contact email.
4 Email, external links and privacy
Email links open your email application; sending is handled by that application and provider. Clicking does not establish that a message was sent or received or automatically form an order or project agreement. External pages have their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not guarantee all destination content or release us from legal responsibility for our own conduct. Website information processing is described in this website’s Privacy Policy. The app, business platform and separate Iris services have their own agreements and notices.
5 Availability and responsibility
Maintenance, updates, network issues or equipment failures may temporarily interrupt the website. Project responsibilities remain subject to applicable law and the relevant valid contract. These terms do not exclude or limit responsibility where the law prohibits it, require visitors to waive statutory rights, add a compensation cap or shorten a statutory claim period.
6 Disputes and language versions
You may contact us by email with any concerns. This does not affect your right to seek remedies directly from a competent court or other body under applicable law. These terms add no compulsory arbitration, exclusive jurisdiction or prevailing-language clause. Chinese and English use matching sections; differences in meaning will be clarified and corrected promptly and handled under applicable law.
7 Updates
Later changes will identify the version and effective date. Changes affecting significant rights will be highlighted on the webpage, with separate notice or consent where required by law. Updates do not unilaterally alter existing contracts retrospectively or exclude statutory rights.
